Real Estate Credentials & Accreditation's
Buying or selling a home is an involved and complex process. I have gone through extensive training and classes to better serve you in your real estate needs. Below is a list of some of the additional training and accreditation's that I have earned.
The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR)
- The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark
of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded
to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council
("REBAC") of the National Association of REALTORS® who meet
the specified educational and practical experience criteria.
A Buyers Representative offers many benefits:
- Evaluate the specific needs and wants of the buyer and locate properties that fit those needs.
- Assist buyer in determining the amount that they can afford (pre-qualify), and then showing properties in that price range.
- Assist in viewing properties and either accompany client on the showings or preview properties on behalf of the client to insure identified parameters are met.
- Research selected properties to identify any issues to help the consumer in making an informed decision prior to making an offer on the property.
- Advise client on structuring a purchase offer.
- Present offer to seller’s agent and seller on the client’s behalf.
- Negotiate on behalf of the buyer to help obtain the property. Keep in mind that the buyer agent will be doing so with their clients best interests in mind.
- Review and explain legal documents to a buyer client.
- Recommend and assist in securing financing.
- Provide a list of potential qualified vendors e.g. movers, attorneys,
carpenters if these services are needed.

Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)
- The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the highest Designation
awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field. The CRS Designation
recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience and education.
The Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI) - Graduate REALTOR® Institute designees have made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services to their clients. The GRI curriculum incorporates a common body of knowledge for progressive real estate professionals. A REALTOR® who possesses the GRI designation has not only completed a course of study required by the program, but also subscribes to the Code of Ethics of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.
